My Week of Workouts (6/6)
Hello fitfam and Happy Friday! As some of you might know, I am embarking on this new journey of becoming a personal trainer. With this exciting new goal I am obviously very focused on getting myself 100% comfortable in the gym, and part of that is getting myself used to lifting heavier weights. I know the weight room can be intimidating for a lot of girls, I have been there. Sometimes I still get nervous when there are like 5 dudes pumping iron and then little old me trying to squat a measly 50 pounds. I have found a HUGE way to overcome this intimidation is to be prepared! Have your workout ready to go and written down with you so you can get in the zone and just do you. Since I am already creating these workout lists anyways, I have decided to start a new series on my blog called 'My Week of Workouts'. This week was the first week of me hitting some heavier weights after doing Kayla Itsine's BBG for 5 weeks, and it got me super sore (especially my butt, praying for booty gains). I pulled most of these moves from my brain, some from Pinterest, some from just google searches for how to target a muscle group. I find workout guides like this useful so hopefully you do as well!
